Such joy from them when we presented the Kit, & excitement being part of the big cheque presentation. More Proud Moments had recently with CKAFC under 7’s - £425.61 awarded towards Kit/Equipment for their newest/youngest team. Ivan Gentleman member The Jamie G Sporting Trust presented the cheque & watched the excited juniors play. Month of December - More Support Awards given recently to New Street Girls FC under 18’s. Proud moments Presenting to Andover Swimming & Water Polo Club recently …Pictured below : Trust members Jacqueline Gentleman & Vera Samani with Swimmers from L-R - Leo, Mimi, Oscar & Head coach Scott Buchan, & Committee member Sarah HorneWords of Thanks from Sarah:The Andover Swimming & Water Polo Club proudly receive £599.40 from The Jamie G Sporting Trust. With the donation we have been fortunate to purchase some waterproof training mats that will be used poolside to help with warm up & strength sessions & cool down. The mats are also waterproof so there may be a ‘plank challenge’ in the pool on them! The club is a competitive swimming & water polo club taking swimmers from aged 9 who are wanting to swim competitively against other clubs. Andover has swimmers that have represented the club at both county & regional level with the water polo players having success at regional, National & International level. Matthew & Riley, members of the performance squad showcasing the mats & demonstrating the plank after an hours intense swim training.Sincere Thanks from us all for this donation, we can invest back into the swimmers & further aid their development & skills. The club trains most evenings at the Andover leisure centre as well as Sundays.
